"Choices are a profound thing. You either make the right one or you don't. But it's truly not that simple. It is why I wonder if I truly made the right one."
Kiyoko's smile only softened at Aeron's reaction and statement to her own about his eyes. They were her's now. She was slightly startled out of her thoughts when she felt something on her face. Her eyes opened once more to see Aeron tracing her face with his gloved hand. A small blush formed on her face in the process as she shifted a bit. Not because she was uncomfortable, but because this was something very new to her. She had entered into something she had no experience in and she wasn't sure where to go from here. So, she'll allow him to show her.
"Thank you, Aeron. And I'd be delighted to have you accompany me to the Eclipse viewing," she stated before his finger traced her face and landed on her lips. Her eyes widened slightly at his declaration of her not being alone anymore. They then settled back as her smile merely brightened. Not alone, it was something that she would cherish. She had someone to share her loneliness with now, so she wasn't alone any longer. With that, the night ended and a new one began.
Kiyoko sighed into her lunch as she ate silently by herself. Normally, she would be eating with her friends or with Sakura, but today was not the case. Sakura had caught a small cold and was sleeping it off, and her friends well... they were a bit annoying today. It appears that her saying yes to a certain pure-blood, spread like wild fire throughout the school. It was the subject of the day's gossip, and quite frankly, she was getting annoyed by it. Her friends and classmates kept telling her how lucky she was, that how they wished they could be in her shoes, however; it annoyed her to no end. She had only said yes due to a certain conflict, and even now she was having doubts about if she made the right decision. Then there were some who stated that she should have never rejected the prefect, how the two of them made more sense than the two-toned eyed Night Class student.
This only caused her face to flare as she angrily retorted for them to mind their own business. So, here she was, sitting outside on top of the school's roof, eating her lunch in solitaire. Not that she minded, she could use this time to reflect on her decision. She had said yes to the pure-bloods question, why? She liked him enough, but it wasn't something she could link to as something close to being considered a lover. The affection she had for him was more on terms with the same that she had for Sakura and her friends. And that was just it, friend. Maybe, if she stayed with him longer, those affection's would turn into something more. But then again, it would be forced. A love forced wasn't love at all, that much she knew. She sighed, pulling her legs up to her chest in the process.
Her eyes were hidden behind her hair as it fell over, covering her in a thick red blanket. She sighed as she released a frustrated groan. She was getting nowhere with these thoughts. She needed help, advice, something to help her. She glanced up at the sky, laughing a bit at the irony that it was bright. The clouds were idly rolling by, the sun hidden behind a few in the process, and the birds were chirping quietly. Standing from her spot, she walked over towards the edge of the building and glanced down. There, she spotted the same cherry blossom tree, the one that was now becoming the bane of her existence. It was there that it happened, and it was there that Aeron asked her that question.
She frowned slightly as a light breeze filtered through the air, bringing a few loose blossoms in the process. She grabbed a few and watched as they flew from her. A smile appeared on her lips in the process. She needed to speak with Aeron. She needed to tell him something, and apologize. She should have never said yes because she knows now that she could never love him as more than a friend. Her heart, although she knew not whom, belonged to someone else. And she would know who when the time came. She needed to correct something before it became too deep. She couldn't have that, and it wouldn't be fair to Aeron. For now, she'd remain here and wait for classes to start again. She would speak with him when the time came for the classes to switch.
