"You happy now that you scared me out my life? You've got wings for flip sake, you've could of flew but NO, you got to go jump and scare the living daylights of me you big...bafoon!" She yelled at him. Dax extended one wing and one wing alone.
"Um... Not really no... My other wing's kinda dead." Dax said, trying to extend the other one. "And... Before you yell at me about walking down steps. The angel guards don't like me and probably wouldn't have let me take you." Dax then pulled Minx out from his hood and placed it in Kimberly's hands.
"Here. If you storm off in a huff he'll protect you." Dax said. He knew she was pissed. But it was true. He broke his wing in a fight he'd gotten into about a year ago and it has yet to heal. And the guards around the castle never liked him. Actually... No one in the kingdom liked him.
