Sebastian finally looked over at Annelise to see her head down. Still chewing his cheek, he easily noticed her backing away slightly. Should he tell her to come back toward him? Briefly, he opened his mouth and then stopped. No, he'd probably just make it far more awkward, right? The tall Hunter shoved his hands into his pockets and sighed, looking to the side again so he could avoid having to look at the girl. Her reaction was certainly not what he'd been expecting. Seb had thought, maybe, that she would have been happy or at least happier than she was now.
"C-Can we go back inside...?" Annelise whimpered and Seb quickly looked back at her, almost shocked she'd finally spoken of something besides their awkward kiss. "I-I don't want to go, and it's getting really l-late." The man nodded slowly, rubbing the back of his neck slowly as he nodded.
"Yeah, we should probably go in before the fangers or the dogs head out," he murmured. He turned and started to the cabin again. His hand gripped the doorknob and he started to turn it at first, though he stopped when he heard Annelise speak again behind him. "Can I stay here tonight...?" Sebastian looked over his shoulder at her and nodded slowly.
"Yeah, you can stay here." His voice was soft, a bit too soft for him, and he sighed. "Do you need to get clothing from your place first...?" Regardless of how she would reply, Seb entered the house and walked through the back door to grab his half-empty beer can, which he brought inside along with Annelise's soda. Setting her drink down on the coffee table, he sat back on the couch and quickly ruffled Leighton's hair.
Turning his attention to Alarick, he smiled weakly. "Sorry about that," he said. "Have I missed anything?"
