Kianna was as of yet unharmed, though a pair of security guards lay sprawled within the outer hallway with their firearms on the floor next to their unconscious forms.

Whisper hesitated at Aiyanna's arrival, and her eyes settled on the form of the android.

"They need to die," Whisper replied with a strained voice.

Her eyes shifted to the side as she assessed her situation. She wanted to look upon Mollem as he died, to hurt him as he had hurt her, but under the circumstances she would settle for just having him dead.

The nurse’s face rippled, before smoothly transitioning back into Echo’s default shape – complete with his special projects uniform. His stance was uneasy, uncertain. What was Whisper doing? Why was she disobeying their orders?

“What?” He asked, looking between Whisper and Aiyanna. “What’s happening?”

Whisper ignored Echo in favor of holding her hand out to one side as one of the security guard's guns flew into her open grasp. She turned the weapon on Kianna and the child both, but with Aiyanna standing between her and them she hadn't a clear shot to fire it.

It seemed a vain effort to the naked eye, but the psionic energies within the room spiked as an icy grip found its way to Mollem's chest in the nearby waiting room.

Whisper's grip tightened upon the gun as the sharp pain pierced her own chest. For an empath to kill a man in such a manner, there was little choice but to experience it in turn. If she couldn't see him die, she would feel it.

Her psychic grip constricted tightly and sweat beaded upon her skin.

The pair of officers that appeared in the hall were met with the same result as the security guards before them and she spared them only a brief glance as the pair slammed against the wall before dropping to the floor alongside the security guards.
