Neil was relieved when she looked away briefly. A bit more time to try and hide his emotion. "I'm really sorry about your brother, Neil. I...those mer that caused the Destruction...I wish they had never caused harm..." He didn't want to say anything, only hummed in agreement.
He was glad when she changed subjects with him. It'd be a lot easier for him to talk about something else. "It's fine, I guess. Although it is getting a little chilly. A blanket might be nice, thanks." She changed her mind as she went along, and was a bit hesitant. Caress was changing. She was much nicer, calmer, and smiling. Neil liked it. Getting up from his chair, he wondered if she wanted to go get it, or if she wanted to stay here. "Wanna come then?"
