As the door opened, Ryuka winced a bit at the sudden bright light. As her eyes readjusted to the light, she saw blue.
The whole interior was a shade of blue, the walls were a deep ocean blue while the floor was a carpet type of substance. The room wasn't furnished as much, with just a small round table and two chairs. The two chairs' frames were pitch black, but the cushion was the same color the room had. The back of the chair had an ornate design, something that looked like a Victorian style chair from England. On the other side of the room, a large silver ornament hung right in the middle, with a gold outline around it. It appeared to be a giant clock, and it ticked away slowly, and surely. It reminded her of one of those fortune telling sites.
There was a dark blue couch on the opposite side of the table, and in it sat an older looking gentleman. If she knew what was going on, Ryuka would have laughed at his appearance. He had bug eyes, and was bald except for a snowy white hair that seem to be past his neck. He also had a very long nose that reminded her of a bird's beak without all the colors that it usually had. He was dressed in a gray pin-stripe suit, and white gloves. The corners of his mouth pulled into a smile, as he looked at the pair who had just come in.
"Welcome to the Velvet room... My name is Igor, but Before I say anything else, Please, take a seat..." He said, as he motioned with his hand at the two chairs that was on the opposite side of the table. His voice was very high, something unexpected for a man his edge. He drew out his words a bit, as if to add a dramatic flare to his spoken words.
Ryuka hesitated, before going to sit down. The girl watched as the man continued to smile at the two. He opened his mouth to continue.
"Now...Before anything....This must be said. You pair are not dead...just simply asleep." He paused, before continuing.
"Your minds have entered the dreamscape-known as Tayles....Have you two heard of that before? Your Personas was calling out to you, were they not?" Ryuka blinked, as the man spoke. Personas? Calling out? Was that the voice she had heard while in the science building? She nodded a bit, after a moment of thought. She felt her stomach tighten into knots as she responded.
"If you mean the voice that talked to us earlier...then yes...i've heard whatever you said." She felt pretty stupid saying it out loud, though at least it showed she wasn't crazy and it was actually the work of something else.
The man seemed to smile more at her response, and turned to the boy next to her.
"And you? Have you heard the voice of your Persona?"
