Piper scowled, her maroon, long fingernails tapping on the glass of the car. Her aunt glanced at her from time to time. "I'm sure it won't be that bad, just keep your mind open," Piper's aunt broke the awkward silence. "Screw you," She growled, not even bothering to look back at her. Her aunt pursed her lips. She was about to say something, but didn't, clamping her mouth shut. Piper looked at herself in the side mirror. The words freak ran through her mind. She was going to make her aunt regret this.
They came to a stop, the brakes of the car squealing. Piper bit the inside of her lip, making her face look sour and angry. Not bothering to talk to her aunt, she got out, carrying her red and black plaid backpack and her plain black suitcase. Her aunt starred at her back, seeming to look back on something. Shaking her head, she pulled forward. Piper glanced at the sheet of paper that her aunt made sure she had. Heading to dorm 200, she made sure to stomp hard, making her steps loud as she blew past a large group of people. She got to her form room. No one was there yet, which just gave Piper enough time to sulk and get pissed off at something.
L watched intently out the window as Dannie's car came to a stop in front of the school. "Promise me that you won't make too much trouble?" "Dannie, who do you think you're talking to?" Her mother's lips formed a small smile. There was no way she could change her adoptive daughter. "Love you," She said, her lips started to form L's name. "Love you too. Remember, it's just L. I'm not her anymore," Dannie nodded. L grinned at her. Putting on a fake, but ugly scowl, she stormed out of the car, slamming the door loudly behind her. Everyone's head turned. L walked along, a proud smirk on her face as others backed off. They soon got back together, nervously talking. L snorted as a small kid yelled out in happiness.
Bumping into her purposely as she passed, L made her way to her dorm. "200," She strolled confidently, wondering who she got to pick on this year. Once she entered, she spied a girl with long black hair and red eyes. "Aw, a little troll!" She laughed at the girl, who snarled at her, barring sharp teeth. L snorted, tossing her bag on top of her. "HEY!" The girl yelled, startling L a bit. L snorted. This might actually be fun.
