Haiku was woken up by a gentle knock on her door. With a groan she slowly sat up, her hair in a rowdy mess down her back. "Pardon, Madam Haiku, but I was asked by your new butler to assist you in getting dressed this morning." Haiku rubbed her eyes tiredly as she glanced over to her clock, tired eyes blurred and barely able to make out the time. 7:13AM. Her brown hues narrowed on the girl. "Has he lost his mind? It's not even eight yet..." "Yes, madam... I-I mean, no, madam. He- you-... There is to be tea in the garden, madam, with a special guest. I am to ask you to wear something nice."
With a sigh, Haiku pulled herself to her feet and shook off the remaining whispers of her dream. "Alright," she sighed, walking to her closet and motioning for the maid to follow her inside. It did not take the two very long at all to dress Haiku in a soft orange dress that accented her skin complexion and exotic hair. Makeup and fixing her hair took no time at all, and in a matter of minutes the maid dismissed herself, instructing Haiku to wait for Sebastian to come get her.
A softly wrapping at her door a few moments later caught her attention Turning from her vanity, she looked over her shoulder as she listened to Sebastian's voice push through the door. "My Lady. We need to head out now. It is nearly 8am, your guest will be here shortly." Haiku turned back to her mirror, staring at her reflection for a moment longer before standing with a quiet sigh. "Alright, I'm coming," she called through the door as she crossed the room to open the door.
As she opened the door, a smile lifted her features at the sight of him. In the light of the house she could now see that his hair was pink, one of her favorite colors. To be fair, it was more of a strawberry blonde-- but it looked pink. "Good morning," she said with a smile. "Who is this mysterious guest I hear of?" Her doe like hues glitter with amused curiosity. She loved surprises.
