Kaito's jade green, cat like eyes snapped open as he heard a voice. He hadn't heard Zero approach, being so lost in his own world... but he could see him now. A slight, sly smile flitted across his lips and he stared at the gun quite a while, tneither fear nor any kind of other nervosity showing on his face. He folded his hands in his lap, running a finger along one of his scratch wounds before he said in a very soft, strangely calm voice.

"Will it bring you join to kill me, Zero? Then please be my guest. It is true I killed the human; I killed her, Zero... I murmured her slowly and painfully, I watched her life seep out of her, I felt her go limp in my arms... like a little doll. It was delightful indeed... but why do you care? You are no longer a human and neither are you worthy being called a vampire. You are nothing... just like me. We're alike; just in different ways... monsters, that is all anyone of us is ever going to be. I was raised as one, you were made one. In the end, there is no difference. So why protect them when they taunt and torment you by there mare presence? To be it sounds but a fools wish to change his fate. Nothing more, nothing less..." Kaito trailed off and leaned his head against the wall, gazing up at Zero with hauntingly beautiful but sad eyes. "well... maybe that is because you still think you have a choice; who knows? I, at least... do not," he trailed off and yawned, "if you weren't so stiff and aspergerish, it most certainly hit on you. You're pretty enough," he stated as he stretched and then blinked as a... vampire hunter appeared?

"A human has died by your hands eh? Well, I guess that means you die tonight..."

He smiled at her pleasantly, just as he had at Zero and then racked a bloodied hand through his hair, remaining silent once more. At least for a little while. When he spoke again, his voice was just as calm and carefree, although her was a hint of pain in it, as before.

"Tell me, level B and vampire hunter... would any of you feel bad if you ate a chicken or pork? Humans are no different than that to a vampire... at least it did not use to be that way. Who has the right to tell if an animal has feelings or not? Are they less worthy than humans? Of course not... but unless you are a total animal activist or vegetarian, you still need food to survive, and animals are a part of what a human generally needs; believe it or not. Are humans any less worthy than vampires? Obviously, they are not... but they are still part of a vampires diet. Shouldn't a lion be allowed to hunt an antelope? And yes, I know I am a bad example... since I am sadistic and like hurting my pray and all that damn crap. But...heh... cats do play with their food before they kill it too. Really, there is no difference... it is your fault for being stubborn and not seeing it. All these sentimental wistful ideas about vampires and humans loving alongside one another... is bullshit. Although even I can witness for that it works... still, only for a certain amount of time." Kaito trailed off again and watched them carefully.

"That said... shoot. What are you guys wanting for? Just do it, kill me... it will be quite amusing to hear about the consequences of my death once I am in Hell... since I do not believe my family would let the death go unpunished. Still, I hate them so I could not care less about leaving the, 'grieving' over my death..."

She charged at him, and although he first had not intended to, he suddenly moved to the side in order to evade her blow. "Nah-ah.. I said shoot. I rather want a monster like me to kill me than a girl in sluggish clothes," Kaito sniffed, crying out in pain as he felt the blade penetrating his shoulder. So, he hadn't managed to evade it after all. Well, at least it was just his shoulder. The sad but moderately clear look in his eyes from before shifted to a more crazed, psychiotc, hazed kind of look. He gave a sound that was a strange mixture between a sob and giggle, feeling the pan radiating from where the sword was stuck in his shoulder. For a second, a look of delight flashed across his features, but then he forced himself to sober up.

"Understood?" Kaito mused, tilting his head at her.
