Garth listened intently as she switched back to Italian, before setting her own head down beside him on the bed. For a bit, there was a silence between them, one that was comforting and peaceful, with a tint of confusion thrown in somewhere. Garth wasn't sure how he could be of assistance to Angel right now after her statement: she thought she had everything, yet she was feeling useless and without purpose. Garth could only imagine the whole that she felt, and his brain began to wrack itself at the sound of of a hiss being released from beside him. In truth, he could only remember feeling similar to her predicament at three different time periods. The first was when he was human, after finally marrying Adosinda yet feeling like there was something missing from his life.
The other two times were with two separate vampires: Aphrodite and Angel herself. With Aphrodite, the feelings only surfaced a week before she left, when he thought himself smitten with her. With Angel, Garth only remembered a flicker of said emotion when she left him to explore, fearing for her safety.
He turned his body on it's side, bringing himself closer to her and facing her completely, before he spoke in a soft voice. "I know not of a cure, my little huntress: but what I can offer, I will gladly give to see you happy."
