Rose gulped at his blunt statement but was somewhat surprise.
Did he not know what a mate was?
Rose thought every wolf knew but maybe he was never told. Rose remembered her mother always telling her stories of how soulmates came to be, how they were apart of one another.
"Sadly yes I am part of that pack, when I was younger it was never like that but once my parents died things just turned sour" Rose said quietly, knowing he probably didn't want to hear her life story.
"Umm....excuse me Alpha Black but do you....not know what a mate is?" Rose questioned, giving him a puzzled look.
