Nile's face seemed to glow red. "Its nice to meet you Arik, please just call me Nile ummm.....the rest of the slaves and staff are being given a night off and we are holding a little get together in the slaves quarter's, you probably haven't met anyone else so would you like to go with me?" Nile asked shyly. Rae's eyes widened slightly, she had forgotten about the slaves night off. Unknown anger flared in Rae making her green eyes glow a blazing gold. Being an Anubis princess her and her family were linked to the Egyptian god giving them magical powers. Rae's powers were more linked to her emotions then her father's, and she was more linked to element magic then basic.

Trying to ignore them Rae went deeper into the water and went under, sinking to the bottom and sitting on the sandy sea floor. She didn't understand why she was acting like this, yes she had taken an instant liking to Arik but that didn't explain why she was feeling angry at some woman flirting with him.

Nile gulped as she saw Rae's eyes turn gold before she went under water. She didn't know why Rae was angry but when the princess is angry it isn't safe for anyone. Last year she had burnt a guard to a crisp because he had made some very forward moves on the princess.

"Ummm I should really get going the princess seems to be mad for some reason and I really don't want to turn into a crispy Nile, be careful, not many people outside the palace know that the Royal family is descendants of the god Anubis giving them powers" Nile whispered to Arik then she bowed her head and scurried out of the room.
