A day earlier ....
While tensions were high among the seven missions were still being set and accomplished and things in the world were momentarily peaceful for the time being. Nikita and Michael were off on there long awaited honeymoon, Birkhoff and Sonya were being annoyingly nauseating cute and all the down time had Mikaela feeling restless and bored. When Cyrus finally located Mikaela her playing with Birkhoff's newest gadget the 'Robotic Hand', "You know the nerd doesn't like it when you play with his toys." The abrupt sound of voice startled her causing her concentrating to break led to the glass in her hand shattering to the floor. "You know according to the nerd it takes immense focus to control this thing. I had that before you walked in.", she said somewhat annoyed as she disarmed herself of the mechanical hand.
"Yeah well sorry for the intrusion but you've got a message.", he said as he approached her with an extend hand that held her cell phone in its grip. "Zetrov." Mikaela asked assuming it had something to do with the company as she took the phone from the man. With a simple shrug of his shoulders Cyrus handed over the phone before turning and exiting the room leaving Mikaela once again alone. Turning her attention to her cell she retrieved the voicemail and hit the play button as she placed the phone to her ear, βHey Kayla, itβs Alex. Not sure if you are busy right now but could really use your help as have a job you may be interested in, if you can meet me in the old cabin in the Hill Valley woods. Hope to see you soonβ¦β
From the second she heard the voice coming through the device she knew all to well who it was. Alexandra Ackroyd. She hadn't seen the girl in a while and the fact that she was calling now all out of the blue made Mikaela wondered exactly what kind of job her friend had in mind. Not like it really mattered because with things at Division currently in a stand still it was either at this point take the job or go back to Russia and Mikaela was oddly enough in no rush to go back to russia. Hill Valley it was.
