The man just started laughing back, and then stopped, looking at the hound and then stepping back casually as it leaped forward. He waited until it landed and then grinned at it. "And how do you know that I am human?" he asked with a raise of the brow, and then shrugged, looking at it.

"I think we both know that this will keep going on forever, so maybe we shouldn't waste each other's time on that, and waste it on something else instead" he said with a sly smile, and then adjusted his coat.

"The name's Kendrick Rankin" he said casually, pulling out a cigarette, and lighting it. He then blew the smoke in the beasts face, attempting to make it frustrated at how this 'man' was just ignoring everything it was attempting to do in it's power to scare him.
