Lizzie's drugged eyes rolled another lap around the room- this time stopping on a figure in her door way. “I’m fine, I’m here. Calm down…” Lizzie looked toward the voice curiously. "What are you doing here?" The stiffness in her grandmother's voice caused Lizzie to roll her head slowly back toward her relative and scowl. "Get out." "What did you just say to me, young lady?" Lizzie stared at her blankly, and then after a beat repeated herself. "I said get out. Out." The elderly woman got to her feet in a huff and shoved past Brik, and then Ky in the doorway. Lizzie's glossy eyes slowly looked to the man in her doorway, half blinded by the light above her head. Within moments another man had come into the room as well.

Lizzie opened her mouth to speak, just as her doctor walked in. "Elizabeth, your tests are in. Luckily, you were not in a coma long enough to cause any real damage to you or the baby, and your other tests are all coming in negative, so that's good news..." The doctor trailed off as he looked up from his clip board, noticing that they were not alone in the room. "I see you have visitors. Hello, gentlemen, I am Dr. Hart, do you remember me? I oversaw your cases as well. How are you both feeling? Healing up alright, I hope."

Lizzie's eyes looked from her doctor to the two younger men in her room, her eyebrows furrowing together. "They were with me on the yacht?" Her voice was slow and confused. "They were on the island when we found you, Elizabeth. Are they not the friends you've been calling for?" Lizzie looked to the two males in her doorway again, slowly shaking her head. "I... Where's my grandmother? Can I.. please, I.. I want to go home.." Tears swelled in her eyes. "I have a recital. Please, please tell me I can dance. I can still dance, right?" Seeing that she was beginning to get herself worked up the doctor quickly moved to calm her. "Of course! The injury to your thigh was minimal and is healing perfectly. You should be able to perform your solo piece just fine this Wednesday, Elizabeth. Please, calm yourself. Now, are you sure you don't know these two?"

Lizzie looked back to the two men beside her bed, her blue orbs searching their faces as if she had lost something. Slowly, her eyes began to close, the drugs taking over. Desperately she reached out her hand to grab the arm of the nearest boy to her bed (Brik), whispering as she slowly felt herself drifting asleep, "Please stay..."

Dr. Hart cleared his throat and shifted slightly, lowering his voice so as to not wake his sleeping patient. "She has suffered a serious head injury, gentlemen. Her memory is fleeting. She has been screaming for you both for hours, and even in her sleep... but then later when we question about how to contact you, or show her pictures... she says she does not know what we are talking about. It will take time, but I am confident that she will remember eventually. It took her a day to remember her grandmother, and her own name. Give it time. Your other friend is just down the hall, or you are more than welcome to sit here with Elizabeth if you'd like while visitation hours are running. I have another room to see, but if you need anything just call her nurse. It was a pleasure seeing you both again. Stay off that leg as much as possible, Mr. Hamilton."

Dr. Hart left, leaving the boys alone in the room with the sleeping red head. Lizzie held tightly onto Brik's hand as she slept, muttering quietly under her breath- her dreams making her restless. "Ky-...please..don't.. Hel-help...please..don't.." The words whimpered from her lips as her face twisted as if in agony, her legs tightening and curling into her. Then all was quiet, her legs slowly sliding back down in a peaceful position. It seemed as if the nightmare was over, for now.

Lizzie walked through the back stage hallway of her recital hall, feeling butterflies in her stomach. Her whole family was here to see her, and little did she know- her friends still had their tickets to come if they wanted to as well. Her family was placed three rows back on the right, but her three best friends had special seats reserved in the front row of the center. It was going to be the biggest night of her life so far, and she didn't even remember that she had three best friends.

Lizzie made it to her back stage dressing room and stared at herself in the mirror, still in her comfy shorts and white shirt. Glancing behind her to make sure no one was in her dressing room, she slowly pulled her shirt up to examine her stomach. A sick feeling fluttered inside her as she slowly ran her hand against her still flat stomach. No, it wasn't exactly flat anymore.. it was swelling already, but just slightly. The doctor had said that she was pregnant- but how? She had only been raped a few days ago, not even a week ago-- how could she be pregnant already? The idea made her feel nauseous.

Disregarding her feelings, she set about putting on her outfit and fixing her hair and makeup. Once she was ready, she set out for the stage and the piece, Swan Lake, began. She danced beautifully. The red head twirled around and around, just as she had practiced time and time again. By the time the first act was over, she had forgotten her troubles of rape, pregnancy and memory loss. Now the black swan, she took the stage by storm, seducing the prince away from her good twin, and entrancing the audience with her fluid and delicate movements. A quick wardrobe change and a short intermission later, she was the white swan again- this time brokenhearted over the loss of her prince. As she ran up the ramp to take her dive off the scenic cliff, she looked out over the audience, accepting her fate. Then-- she fell.

The mattress below caught her with a cushioned land, and she could do nothing but grin. She made her way around the scenes to come out for her bow and was met with a rain of roses. Her heart fluttered madly in her chest, and her eyes looked out into the audience- searching for faces that she couldn't remember. Breathless, she made her way to the dressing room to change into her black running suit and swiftly made her way out of the back of the theatre where she had planned weeks ago to meet her friends. Steal me away, she had said, the last thing I want to do is spend the best night of my life with them. She had been talking about her family. Her friends knew how suffocated they made her feel, and it was a wonder to even her why she had bothered to stay instead of leave. She had talked with Phoenix about getting a place, but they were too young to make it happen at the time.

Back to the present, Lizzie was walking down the back stairs, still grinning and breathless. She stopped short when she saw three figures waiting for her at the bottom of the stair case, all looking just as happy as she did. "You," she said warmly, smiling to Brik and Ky. "You came to visit me in the hospital. That was so sweet of you!"
