"Well, I'm definitely not going to just stay out of the action, that wouldn't be much fun, now would it?" Ava smiled happily. He knew that Ven wasn't one to sit and watch, unlike him,who could do nothing but wait. This made Ava feel a ting of sadness. Maybe Ven had noticed, or maybe not. But anyway she had paused before exiting the door and faced Ava holding a lollipop.
Ava caught the lollipop, which Ven had tossed over to him. A small smile formed on his face as he looked at it. "It may be a while, so there's something I won to give you some company while we're gone." She said and waved as she closed the door behind her.
There Ava was left in the darkness of his room. He knew that he would be in here for a while so he at least thought he should do something. But what was there to do in an this room? Once Ava had actually thought about it, he hasn't been outside lately, "Maybe...if just for little while... I could -"
Ava was about to exit the room, even though it was forbidden. Still it wasn't going to be for a long time, he just wanted to look around. But before Ava could open the door all the way, he was stopped by two of Eien's creatures. Ava couldn't help, but laugh at this little surprise. "Eien must really not want me outside." He had almost made it out. The door was half open, but of course he wouldn't have succeeded...I never do.
Ava looked at the eyes of the two beasts, who seemed to be hesitant toward him. He chuckled at the fact that they had some sense of awareness. Ava knew he shouldn't fight with them,as it would only cause more trouble for Eien. Walking away he sat himself upon his bed. Letting his body flop down lifelessly, he came in contact with the soft fabric of his sheets.
The moon shone brightly on his body, and Ava couldn't help but stare up at its beauty. So pure and white. Something he no longer was. Ava stuck the candy he got from Ven in his pocket, as he just didn't have the heart to eat anything. There he laid on his bed, and watched the moon shine.
Out of nowhere, Avarna felt a sudden stab in his shoulder. Wincing softly he touched the place where he felt the most pain. Once he touched it, he was surprised to feel nothing. Though it hurt, there was no blood or any physical wound to be found.
So is it emotional?
Ava wasn't sure what to think at the moment. He only has an emotional connection toward One person, and that was Eien. So was Eien hurt?
”That’s impossible.” There wasn't anyway Eien could get hurt, and in such a place too. He was too fast. But what if he did?
Ava felt a very uncomfortable feeling over take him. It was a rare feeling that he hadn't felt in a long time: Fear. Ava shivered at using the word to describe his own emotions. It was fine if others had the emotion, but he hated it when he felt it too.
Ava wished he could exit this room, but even if he wanted to he couldn't. Eien had told him to stay inside, and besides by the time he gets over there the monsters would have stopped him. Ava cursed the fact that his little brother had done this, but he couldn't erase the past. But still he had to get out. He had to make sure Eien was fine.
Ava had gotten out of bed, and soon started pacing the perimeter of his large room. Unexpectedly he paused after hearing a small sound outside. Ava stood still. Facing the door, he listened closely to what was outside. He felt something coming. It wasn't big, but it wasn't human either.
The whole room was covered in darkness, the only source of light was the red warning lights, that only flashed once every other second. The once beautiful moon, was hidden behind hideous grey clouds in fear.
It's impossible. No one would be so high up in the building, this was the top floor, and besides the only people who knew of this rooms existence was Eien and Ven. So how could anyone find it?
Ava froze to the sound of footsteps ending at his door. The two shadows around him, started to growl lowly. He hushed them with his finger and then backed away slightly from the door.
Ava was nervous. Why? Because whatever was out there had no emotion at the moment, so he had no idea what it was. Ava backed away from the door as he could hear the movements from outside. He hid in the darkness with his brother’s monsters, awaiting whatever was coming.[/color]
