Haruko stared into the fire, his thoughts drifting from one inconsequential subject to the next without really bothering to linger on anything for more than a few seconds. He still could not remember the crash or what had happened before. Had they been attacked? If so, by whom? Or was it just some technical problem? He shook his head, he wouldn't be able to force the memories back into his consciousness. If they would return, then they would do so in their own time. Nothing for him to do about it.
His mind turned to the problem at hand. How to get off this blasted planet in a matter of a few days? Their oxygen wouldn't last for ever and without it the chances of survival would be quite slim. But would they be able to repare the spaceship? From the damage he had witnessed it was truely hard to believe. So their only chances seemed to lie somewhere on this planet.

Suddenly a gasp was heard from behind him and Haruko turned around and walked back to Sam who looked as if he had just woken from a bad nightmare. "Are you okay, Sam?" he asked concerned for his friend. It obviously was the night for strange dreams, he though and shook his head. He smiled slightly at the sleepy expression on Sam's face and the way blearily looked around, hardly able to keep his eyes open. It was a rather cute look on the usually focused face.

Haruko nodded at Sam and they woke their female comrad from her night rest. She also seemed to be looking a bit better than the day before, so that booded well for their journey through the forest. He doubted that they would be able to avoid danger for long and it would only be to their advantage to be as healthy as possible to survive.
Haruko burst out laughing at the image of Sam in a loincloth made of fur running around chasing after animals for dinner. "I think, I would be happy with some fruits or berries as well for now. I think we should try to find some water though. I'm really thirsty." he said, slowly calming down again.
