Grace was also good at choosing friends. She always knew what she was looking for in a friend and followed by those guidelines. So when she was 'it girl' she choose just popular people. But now? Now she needed a true friend. And she knew Anthony and her would get along. He seemed like a gentleman and very nice, plus he just put up with her sad side and that was a lot to say. But he only knew pregnant Grace, and normal Grace was much different. Normal Grace was a stuck up bitch. Grace knew there would come a time when the few people in the castle that didn't mind her met stuck up Grace they would hate her. But until then she let the hormones take there course.
"Your too nice," replied Grace to his comment about her not feeling pathetic, "You didn't make me sound like a whore." That was a relief. Grace never commented about the pregnancy around the castle because people give her dirty looks and talk about her. She was sure they didn't even want her at the gala. The queen hated her and thought of her as a nuisance. The only reason she was going is probably because they king vouched for to be invited and because it was mediatory to invite e guests at the castle. So Anthony's comment was refreshingly nice to hear.
"And it better be a detailed map that your making, so I will never get lost again." Grace grinned from ear to eat like a child. Then she took his offering arm so that they could walk to the match together.
On the way out Grace chattered about bit about the baby. She basically just spit out facts that didn't really matter. She didn't know the baby's gender yet, she was holding off. She could find out but she wasn't ready.
When they finally reached the courtyard Grace looked around. She all of a sudden became very aware of her soundings. Like how she forgot her shoes. Or the princess looking at her mother with almost a pitting looking on her face. Or Nyx looking around for someone. Or the king and his mistress, Dorothy, it sometimes seemed as if they would be better suited to be married then him and the queen, but the king was not one to divorce. Then out of nowhere she got a tug on the back of her dress. It was Cecily, whom Grace just adored. Since Grace has been here she has spent her fair amount of time with Cecily while talking to Dorothy who understood Grace's situation.
"How's your baby?" Cecily asked with a giant smile. "She can actually hear us talking now!" exclaimed Grace. "You can actually say hi to the baby now." Cecily got really close to Grace's stomach and whispered loudly "HI," before running off.
Grace stood straight up from the crouching position she was in to talk to the child.
