Alyx's eyes flickered upward as she watches Fletcher's reaction turn from pleased, to unsettled, "I hadn't gotten to examining the drink. Thank you for pointing it out."
"You...you're welcome." Alyx muttered, she had never been thanked before so genuinely, it felt strange. Alyx watched Fletcher as he stood up and swiftly proceeded out and comes back with anger...and needles... Alyx watched as Fletcher threw that needle directly into a Chef's head; the chef slumps and Alyx's eyes widened a bit, but she does not seem surprised as most people should be. She had seen things like this before back at the lab, when people misbehaved, they were sentenced to death. The white coats saw killing as a game; Alyx shuddered slightly at the thought, but Fletcher's voice brings her back quite quickly.
"Well that's unfortunate. Sorry i had to do that in front of you all, especially on your first day here." Fletcher's voice sounded genuine, sincere; her eyes flicker back to the food as Fletcher seems to have disposed of the body.
Fletcher began moving the now deceased men into a separate room, dragging them rather easily across the floor. He pulled them into a room, a freezer of sorts, hidden by a fake wall. Fletcher sighed, closing the door and replacing the wall panel, then returned to the rest of the group. Luckily the needles were spall and didn't cause much bleeding at all. Fletcher cleaned the few drops of blood up then went to washing his hands.
Fletcher began meandering back to the kitchen and washed his hands thoroughly, "Well, as you can all probably tell by now, im not exactly a simple morgue employee....I'm a highly trained Assassin. I was hoping to be able to hide it to avoid scaring you guys off but I'm afraid its not easily avoidable. Do not worry, you all are perfectly safe, people are after me, not you. You people will be fine....And i doubt that any of your food or drink has been contaminated with poisons or heavy sedatives."
Alyx eyes widened for a moment as this information was spat out to her, of course, she wasn't fully surprised, but the word assassin really caught her off guard. Maybe he was out to get her. But, she also considers that if he were, he would have done it already, considering he had no problem with killing the chef right in front of everyone.
Emotions began to fly through the room, a great angry vibration began to pulsate from Luca, "Alright, WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON HERE? First this girl who looks like a fox, a bloody speaking ANIMAL!" he waved his hands frantically towards the female who seemed to be part fox, then pointed at the man with the funny smell, "Then this guy with his fangs who obviously is AlSO NOT HUMAN! And now this? Are you fucking kidding me? What is this? Hidden camera or what?"
"That's it! I'm out!" Luca stumbles upward, instantly trying to get away and Alyx instinctively darted upwards and zipped over to his side, putting her hand on his shoulder. She understood the fear, the anger, and his emotions were strong, she could feel the terror rippling through his body.
"Please...don't leave..." Alyx's voice was sincere with emotion, her eyes begged him to stay, he was the only one she knew wouldn't try to maul her to pieces because... He had a good heart, she could tell.
Luca reminded her of another boy she grew up with in the lab, so she felt protective of him and wanted to keep him around.
