Nori watched as Sophie sat his laptop onto the table and looked at him, smirking. For a moment, Nori was unsure what the smirk was about but then Sophie spoke. He listened to her as she spoke about the uniforms that they had been forced to wear. Nori laughed, a smile on his face. "Yea..I can't say that I enjoyed wearing it. They were really hot. Of course it could have been worse. They could have had glitter all over them." When Sophie began talking about his singing, Nori eyed her with his dark eyes. When she fell silent, he spoke again. "I don't think that I'm really that good. But..thank you." He fell silent for a moment, thinking back to the last time that he had sung for anyone.

If he remembered correctly, it had been for Hannah's birthday. He'd taken her out and they'd spent the entire day together. When they had gotten to the restaurant, Nori had put together a performance for her. After dinner, he'd gotten up and performed. He'd never seen her so happy. It had made him happy to cause her such happiness. Now, thinking about it, Nori felt strange. Not about showing Sophie the video but just getting ready to begin singing again. He was actually unsure if he'd be able to do it. The video that he'd shown Sophie had been taken when he had been singing everyday. He was unsure how his voice sounded now that he'd not been singing in some time.

A small smile was now on his face. "I'm actually not sure if I'm still able to sing at all. I've never gone so long without practicing. It'll be interesting, I'm sure. I think that I know what song I want to do, though, for the tryouts. So I just need to work on it..and hope that I don't do too bad." He laughed lightly. He hesitated for a moment before continuing. "You know..I think the most nerve wracking part about performing is at the end..you never know how everyone is going to react."
