Adam sat still in the back of the SWAT van the whole journey, he had stopped crying and was now filled with anger. As the group stopped outside of the house Adam didn't move, as Troy told him to get the girls in he didn't move, the girls jumped out and got themselves acquainted with the surroundings without him anyway. So many thoughts were running through Adams mind, like how the FBI murdered his parents, that's not possible because it's a government organisation, they don't just go around killing people.
With a yawn Adam came around and took in his surroundings. Scooting over to the open door of the van he looked out over the woods and house. Shifting his thoughts the best he could he smiled, he'd at least attempt to cheer up, for the other's sakes.
Jumping out the van he walked slowly towards the house and opened the door with a creak. Inside was how you'd expect a woodland cabin to look like, except it was bigger on the inside. As he entered Adam felt the burn in his stomach and realized he had been running on near nothing aside from breakfast and crisps today. His parents flashed in his mind as he remembered his mother cooking eggs and bacon for his father and himself, his smiled faded instantly. Picking himself up yet again he regained his composure and faked another smile.
Strutting into the living room Adam noticed only two important things, Four and a fireplace, which was burning already. "Hey hothead, pun intended." he smiled and shoved his hands as near to the fire as possible without losing them. The heat felt good. "So uh, when you flame-on do your clothes burn away? I was holding that question since I knew you burned things." Adam was back to his old ways.
Just then he remembered he had lost his limited edition deck of cards when he dropped his bag. Swearing mentally he abused himself jokily for being so stupid.
