The wolf has grown strong under Sirec's care, and been given the name Shadow. He never seems to leave Sirec's side, as Sirec saved him from death. Now, Sirec wields a bow he had crafted in a fit of genius. It is strong enough to get his flint tipped arrows around 25 feet. So far they have only claimed one deer.

Sirec stood over the hide and bones of the freshly gutted animal. Some of the meat went into a small make-shift storage, while some of it went to be cooked. The pelt of the deer was being cut into strips with the hatchet so that Sirec could make a better door.
