The words crept through Tristan's mind, this is what he wanted wasn't it? Questions ran through his mind, what would happen if he declined? Would Bell be ok? A picture of Fay dead hung in the back of his mind.
He couldn't let her be given away like this?
Or could he?
A dark voice in the back of his mind erred him to accept Satan's offer, but another voice told him to decline the deal. Memories of how Fay cried out for his name when she had her nightmare came flooding back to him, he couldn't let her nightmare come true.
Slowly he looked is eyes with Fay, anger and pain lingered in his eyes, "I'am so sorry, my dear Fay-" a smile crept up on his pale face, he locked eyes with Satan. In one swift movement he drew his Katana and whispered more to to himself than anyone else, "forgive me Bell."
Years of caged up anger was let go, before Satan could pick up his actions Tristan had already buried his katana his fathers leg. A hollow scream of anger came from his fathers mouth as his sword easily pierced through Satan's foot, without thinking he grabbed Fay and pulled her up. "Didn't I promise you I would keep you safe? We need to leave now, a broken foot will only delay him, go!"
Tristan cast his father one last glance, a devious smirk appeared on his face "Don't worry, I'll be back for you, and I will kill you" anger took over his voice. As quickly as he could Tristan lead Fay out of the dungeon and out into the garden, he needed to take Faith some where secret, some where safe.
