Eagerly, Haruko listened to his new teacher and was filled with a strong sense of excitement to know that there were other artist to be found in this school. That would be good for him, as he wouldn't be the only one with such "girly" a hobby as drawing. Maybe over his drawing she might even build some friendships? That would be a nice change, he thought.
His eyes travelled over the people in the small cafe, as if he could make out who was like him just upon looking at them and his eyes widdened slightly when he caught the boy he had been drawing looking back at him. Haruko swallowed, worried that the other might have realized what he was doing and was now offended. Luckily that did not seem to be the case and the other smiled at him, so he relaxed again and smiled back slightly.
Haruko turned his eyes back to his teacher who was now standing next to him and was looking more closely at his drawing. He blushed slightly at the compliment and whispered "Arigatou gazaimasou, sensei." [Thank you, teacher] He bent back slightly, so Renard could access the drawing pat and make some additions to the face, which in return now looked much more realistic. Haruko looked up again to observe Victor and smiled back at his teacher. "Anata wa kanzen ni kare o hokaku. Watashi wa sudeni shitte iru watashi wa anata no kurasu o takusan aisurutoiukoto." [You captured him perfectly, Sir. I already know that I'm going to love your class a lot.] he said and nodded his goodbye politely.
Then he turned back to Luca and tried to sit still and relaxed. He had never been drawn before, so he really didn't know how to behave. Was he allowed to speak? To move? Or should he rather sit calmly and wait for the other boy to finish? Luca was his name and his teacher had said that he was very talented, maybe Haruko would be able to learn from him? But he didn't want to be a bother to the older boy. Whatever! he thought and decided to wait for instructions from him.
