Daniel Westfield:
Daniel watched as his target entered the room. He armed himself with his dual Desert Eagles, and took out a pressure grenade. It is like a regular grenade, only it uses pressure and compression, not gunpowder. As a result, it is, in essence, a silent grenade. It is packed with shrapnel, as it lacks the actual fire and explosion. He kicked open the door, and shot everyone in the room. Except there was Justine problem.
There was no one in the room. There was a dead body however, and a computer set up next to a green screen. The body had a bullet wound in the head, but he heard no shot and saw no flash. As he went over to the computer, someone shot at him from the bathroom while he was in front of the green screen. He shot back, but the shooter moved to the window and jumped out immediately after shots were fired. However, Daniel did graze him, something the man had probably expected not to happen because of his plan. Daniel then went over to the computer as he tried to contact his handler. On the computer, there was a video however.
His handler was sitting in mobile ops, when someone who looked exactly like Daniel shot him. Daniel looked back at the green screen. "What the hell? It was a trap...".
Daniel knew though any novice computer expert could tell it was fake when they examined it. But that would take some time. And they might send someone after him, probably someone like himself. Someone had at least temporarily burned him for the next few hours. He knew he needed to disappear, but he needed to make sure the message got sent to not overlook examining the tape. He sent a message to his handler's comm network, hoping someone would receive it. But he got a message back.
"Nice try, Danny Boy".
That, if only for a moment, made him feel a pinch of fear. He looked at the briefcase on the ground, and opened it. They had his handler's file, as well as his own. Though, the picture they had was fuzzy, at best, if compared it could be recognized. They also had files on the Social Welfare Agency, including one operations post.
But, Daniel got lucky. Checking the pockets of the dead body, he found a business card for a warehouse downtown. "They forgot to clean his pockets. Good. My target is still the buyer, even if he never intended to buy anything".
He left the room, but he took pictures of everything inside the briefcase. By now, there would probably be a yellow alert out on him. Wanted for detainment if possible, death if necessary. And that almost always meant death, unless he got lucky. He just had to survive long enough for the analysts to determine the video was a fake. Additionally, maybe he could find evidence at this warehouse.
He wondered who would be sent after him? They might send multiple people, since he is one of them.
He got onto the elevator and went down towards the lobby, hiding his weapons. He had off site safe houses established in several cities including this one. He just hoped that HQ didn't kill him before his innocence was established.
(Let the plot begin! Hope it's interesting enough for ya!)
