|“If that is so, I never wore a mask. In that case, I always wear one."|
"I'll show you the cafeteria!" O stated happily and with excitement. He was completely satisfied with his position on her shoulder. It was rather interesting to see O completely comfortable. Well, it was not odd since the familiar was someone who is very committed to the idea of his Master to have a friend. Now, this girl, human she may be, she might be able to pierce the black which covers his Master entirely. For now, he would need to lead the way to give Ana some food. "It's this way!" He stated happily as he jumped down from her shoulder and began to lead the way, as they exit the sanctuary which his Master had perceived to be very important.
"Did that letter satisfy you?" Luke noted as he looked at the Rosenkreuz King who was sitting on his bed holding a piece of paper. His face remained a void of any sort of emotions. Those eyes of gold did not show any sort of longing, affection, nor satisfaction. It remained empty much like a mirror reflecting nothing. "Is that from the one I heard about? The one called Alice?" Zenith folded the letter and then stood from his position. He had expected what was written on the letter sent by Alice. It seemed that things would be rather lively in the next few days. However, Alice's appearance around the academy might cause certain discord. Then again, perhaps it would not be so. After all, he had made certain that it would be his sole responsibility.
"Anyway, what happened with the new student?" The query made Zenith recall the troubling request of Guillory. Well, he did agree to it since he had no interest hindering the girl's free will. Luke observed Zenith's actions which warranted nothing of great importance. However, the words which left the white pure-blood's lips did struck a chord on the ever jovial pure-blood of Cross Academy. "Why are you wearing that smile." His voice was without any tone. Those golden eyes gazed at Luke without any hint of emotions. Nevertheless, Luke was well-aware what Zenith was pointing out. His eyes of green held a specific light which seemed to echo limitless regret and sadness.
It was because the smile on his face was never lifted since he began this conversation with Zenith. The kid had certainly picked up a few things along the way. "It seemed that the past is about to come back." His smile remained plastered on his face. The tone he stated those words were filled with such an ominous presence covered in honey. Luke knew that Zenith would not be ignorant of what he was stating. As such, Zenith looked at the letter in his hand which was now burning through the means of blue flames. Soon, it became nothing more but dust in the wind. The establishment of Cross Academy, the notion of being the King of Vampires, having Luke by his side, they were not a simple string of coincidence or the great amount of morality. They were actually less than that... "It begins."
