"Hmm... I will try." After the boy finish reading the notes, he pick up the knife and examine it. It was rather small but it does look sharp enough to cut through flesh.

The boy walks towards the bulwark of vines that was blocking the exit of the cave after he returned the book to the girl. On closer examination, the vines are thick but somewhat browned and yellowish like it was dying. "Hmm... maybe I can try to cut a small gap for us to squeeze through before the knife goes blunt." After deciding for a suitable spot, he began to cut the vines. Surprisingly enough the vines are easier to cut through than he thought it would be.

He tried to took a peak outside but had to shield his eyes a moment to let it adjust to the lighting outside. Once his vision is clearer, he put down his hand to take a full view of the outside. From the gap, he could see a lot of strange trees and grass. Seeing there's nothing dangerous of the outside, he continue cutting the rest of the vines to open the gap bigger until it can allow a person to pass through.

Carefully, he peak out his head looking left and right of the cave before completely stepping out from it. What he saw outside was a forest made up of strange trees and grasses that he never seen before.

"Woah... nice..." After a moment of survey, He went back into the cave and called out to the girl. "Hey! Carrie come out for a sec. I think we are in a middle of a forest."
