More and more people arrived, lining up behind him, and he quickly skittered off to the side after taking his key. "Room..room 209," he repeated.

He turned to the right, still feeling somewhat faint as he climbed the stairs, his porter behind him. He found the room quickly--after all, they were marked, as the lady had said--and turned the key. Peering inside, he found he was the first to arrive.

The porter dropped off the trunk and left, without much of a goodbye to Ellard. The boy sniffed, but said nothing as well. It was just as he thought, anyways. They were only trying to get rid of him. Well, the feeling was certainly mutual! At least...somewhat...

He chose the bed away from the window, instinctively, for fear of snipers, but then fumbled back and forth on whether he wanted a view or not...

Well he finally thought as he sat on the original bed he had picked, his weight barely causing the mattress to dip, I'm sure I can just glance out the window when I'm awake without my roommate minding...better safe than sorry in either case...

With that settled, he unpacked, filling his drawers with maps and the sort he had brought along with him. He was indifferent towards the clothes provided in the closet, although he was indifferent towards all clothes, and once he finished unpacking he reclined on his bed, notebook and pen in hand as he set about marking up his new itinerary.
