They were supposed to run away together. Although they have left home multiple times, they came back. This time they were supposed to leave for good. Pack everything up and never look back. But he had to move. It wasn't that she was mad his family decided to move, she was mad that he was agreeing to go with them. No matter how many times he said that he loved her and that the move wasn't his fault, she couldn't hear anything else but the sound of betrayal. He was agreeing to leave her and back out of everything they had planned. That is what broke them up. Not the move like everyone thinks it is.
"We can argue about the past later, but for now we just need to find a way out of this situation." Ana nodded again. Usually as an optimistic person she would be say that to him, but she was too busy freaking out. Of course she wasn't going to have that look on her face. After a moment of silence she stood up and dusted herself off. "Let's um go back to the beach. Maybe there were some other things that appeared on the beach with us," she suggested. Really there was doubt in her mind that there was anything out there, but she wanted to get out of the forest. She had a thing with being trapped. It was bad enough she was trapped on the island. She didn't want to be trapped in the forest.
Ana waited for Connor before she started walking back to the beach. She wrapped her arms around herself as a form of comfort.
