Licht had woken up feeling a bit better than usual, for obviously reasons, of course. Meeting one of his old companions from ACO was a joy, and also hearing about another's wellbeing (implied, mostly) helps too. It would be a shame to know that a certain competitive woman from ACO would not be joining them, but Takeshi most certainly could understand that people would want to forget about something so traumatic as that if possible, or at least place enough distance between themselves and the cause. He might have originally just enjoyed it as a harder game, but Takeshi did realize what it was probably like for the other players, who fought so fiercely to escape. It was originally what had convinced him to mature up and realize he still had a family waiting at home, who would be crushed if they did not get their son back.
The morning was about as rehearsed as usual, with him getting out of bed half-naked with a dull expression plastered across his face, making him look as vacant as a zombie. Taking it from there, he ventured into the restroom and took a morning shower, which served to put some life back into the young man, albeit just slightly. Refreshed(ish) and ready to take on the world by storm (not really), he changed into a new pair of clothes before venturing tot he kitchen, where this time milk did wait for him. The godsend was also a nice relief. Yes... his bowl would now be complete with both cereal AND milk. This, of course, meant he could maybe die in peace now that his stomach was properly filled with a delicious breakfast. That may or may not be an exaggeration, as Takeshi was wearing quite the silly smile as he finished his food.
"Hmm... what is there to do today?" Takeshi spoke to himself as he tried thinking of something productive to do with his life. As with the otaku, he found that impossible to accomplish. At least, that was until he remembered he had a girl's number. Kahlan's, to be specific. "Maybe we can hang out!" he began to like the idea more and more each second he thought about it. It'd be nice to see who was really behind that violent, yet

All there was to do while he waited were some quests so that he may level up. As he was right now, he was sure that he was pretty strong against the majority of Lacrezia players right now, but he was not certain that he was as high above the majority as he was in ACO. Then again, that took weeks of grinding to achieve, so he was not all that concerned at the moment. Besides, he found something interesting. Apparently there was a small event in the area that gave players boosted EXP when they partied up with players they did not have on their friends list. While it was likely people could just defriend their friends to benefit this, some were actually looking to party up as the game had intended. The boost, surpassing his own passive experience gain, coaxed Licht into joining along with some other randoms.
"Kharg's the name, and these are my friends Illyia, and Takeru." a blonde-haired man introduced the group to Licht.
He smiled. "I guess I'm the random of the group, pleased to meet you. I'm Licht."
"...Licht?" came the other boy's voice. "You mean the one from the ACO incident? Or did you just take his name?" he questioned.
"I am the same one." Licht replied.
The young man, Takeru, continued on. "I heard about you when reading about the event. I never played ACO, but I heard about a guy who knew this guy who
"Yeah... although I wish I could've done it sooner, now." he mused.
"Now?" Kharg asked, picking up the last part.
"Don't worry about it. So how about we head off and do a quest or something? Event doesn't last forever, ya know?"
So saying, Takeshi's avatar started off towards an older NPC that was giving out jobs. He approached it and earned a quest from the old guy that required them to slay an incredible amount of various monsters to gather resources for the making a specific item that would then have to be delivered to this NPC's 'son' who needed it for god knows what reason other than to force you to walk for eleven
As you might expect from the party, they did the job and money came with ease but one couldn't stop, it's like he had a disease. It was enough to not only replenish any health pots they had used over the course of the quest, but also was able to use the remaining money to buy some gloves that gave him increased attack speed and reduced his cooldowns by a bit. Definitely a good buy for how he played, though he wished he had enough to buy some better boots too.
As he exited the shop, he saw that Kahlan had appeared online. It had been a while since he signed on, which surprised him. As tedious as the mission he just did sounded, it was actually pretty fun. He and the rest had nice talks and fun while doing the quest, so he did not notice how much time had flown past his perception. "Hey guys, it was good playing with you. We leveled up quite a bit, and I got some new gloves. Pretty good for the time we spent working on it, no?" he glanced back at the rest of the group.
"Yeah, I had fun too!" said Illya.
"I think we all did." Takeru commented.
"Same here." Kharg said.
Licht smiled. "Well, add me and we'll group up some other time. See ya!" and so saying, he headed off for Kahlan's location. She'd probably benefit from his help, considering his passive gave others a slight EXP boost if they partied with him, which he did happen to notice as the others he had just been playing with leveled up 3-4 levels more than he did. So, they met and soon enough did stuff. Monster-killing stuff.

Easy like sunday morning....
Licht took a readied stance and was about to pounce on it when......
*Crunch*
He stepped on small branch that then emitted a sound that alerted the boar. It quickly swung to register what had made the noise, and in that split moment, it was felled.
"Not bad for a warm up," the kill-stealer said as he collected what items the boar had dropped.
A bit irritated, Licht stepped out of the brush, with Kahlan probably following behind him. "Man! I almost had that thing too. Where'd you even come from?" he question. His voice did not seem so much angry as it did surprised at apparent ninja that stood before them. Because the man did not attack Licht, his passive did not pick the man up before. "Well... shit." he sighed, turning to face Kahlan. "We'll have to find another----"
Few days has passed the beginning of Lacrezia - The Reborn World and we believe it is time to put your skills to the test. The first boss - Winged Wolverine has appeared in skies of Caelum. All players who have reached level 20 will be able to travel to Caelum, however in order to complete this quests one must obtain their flying vehicle or a pair of wings. Demons have to obtain Vampire Wings, Humans - Pegasus, Elves - Butterfly wings, Mermen - Astral wings and Angels of course have wings already given to them. 100 first players to defeat this boss will obtain a special flyer item with very high speed and a piece of valuable equipment. Good luck to everybody.
Sincerely, Game makers
