Mackenzie smiled as Tristan did. It made her feel a bit relaxed.
"Thank you, this is very useful. I suppose me walking around half naked isn't the best idea, you never know when the next clothing is coming in." He said and Mackenzie smiled a little wider.
If she had been in her normal state of mind, she'd had some cheeky comment for that but all she could do was smile and watch him walk off.
She went into the kitchen and sorted out all the food she'd purchased eariler. She'd lost her appetite but she figured Tristan worked up quite the appetite beating that man on an empty stomach.
She smiled to herself. She believe Tristan when he said he'd protect her. She didn't know why but she did.
She sighed. He'd have to leave though...or did he? The place was big enough, it was secluded enough that he wouldn't be chased. He didn't have t run. She could put up a protective barrier, well strengthen it, the only reason the hunter got in was because she invited him in. Tristan...well he was a good person, despite how things appeared, he just saved her life. The barrier protected her from dark souls. Tristan had a good one.
She smiled to herself and prepared his food, keeping it warm in the oven, she knew he'd smell the aroma and come running.
Once she finished, she collapsed on the couch and was asleep before she knew it.
Most days she would have cursed her inability to dream but given everything she was quote thankfully for a dreamless sleep.
