Alto's grin dropped when he saw that she kmew he was lying. "Okay, I know, I lied to you." He managed a little laugh when her fist came into contact with his arm but when she turned away, he turned solemn. He reached over to place a hand on her shoulder. "Hey, look, I'm really sorry for lying to you, Akemi. Please forgive me?" He apologized quietly. He hated lying to Akemi. He knew she would worry if he said he really suffered agonizing pain whenever he had an attack, so he always tried to conceal his reactions to the pain. As much as he despised lying, he despised being a burden. He hung his head, black hair covering his eyes.
