Des shook her head, her gentle smile staying plastered on her face " There's someone I would like you to meet", she said as she passed a hand through her hair and motioned for the figure outside the doorway to come in. The girl walking in was silent. Expressionless. " This is Maize " Destiny I'd as she tugged Jaize in closer. The young adult shrugged as she looked away, turning her back slightly to the boy. She had forgotten that her hoodie didn't cover up one of the many large scars on her back. It stuck out like a sore thumb, climbing over her shoulder and down her arm.
