"Get up sleepy head!!! Matty C. ordered breakfast!!"
Matt fell out of bed at the Bristol's words in his head. He was able to block out the music from across the hall, but the scream from downstairs was impossible to ignore. He woke up after that and sat in his bed, looking forward in deep thought. Bristol's voice in his mind snapped him out of it as he dusted himself off from the fall. He walked out of his room, still in his boxers and jumped into the shower, allowing the hot water to wash over his face, waking him up a little more. After a few minutes, he grabbed a towel and dried off, wrapping it around his waist, making sure it was secure and wouldn't fall off anytime soon. He quickly brushed his teeth and exited the bathroom, returning to his room to get dressed.
As Matt looked in his closet, he realized he felt a little drab today. Maybe it was being woken up with telepathy or maybe it was just a random mood, but Matt knew he needed to combat it. So, he pulled his phone from his nightstand and played a song to lift his spirits as he picked his outfit for the day; a pair of jeans and a white v-neck t-shirt. After putting on the clothes and a pair of sneakers from his closet, he exited his room and headed down stairs. On his way down, he passed by Elliot who he gave a small wave to as he passed. Matt was wary of Elliot. He couldn't help but be. With the packs uniting, a lot was changing and having two Alphas under one roof could have ended terribly, but it didn't. Quite the opposite actually and Matt didn't know which one of those possibilities scared him more.
After a minute or two of walking, he finally arrived where the others were congregating and found Georgia and Bristol laughing and cuddling on the floor. "You ladies having fun?" Matt said to the two women on the floor playfully as he sat on the couch nearby, making himself comfortable. It was then he noticed Mindy in the corner in a rocking chair. "And good morning to you too, Mindy." he said in an attempt to be polite. Ever since Matt met Mindy, she had been distant, but from what he'd noticed, that was her procedure for most people.
