She held back against flinching as he roared in her face. She held her throat glowering at the back of his head as he walked out of her room towards the stairs. "You know a simple thank you would have been fine." She quickly glanced at her throat making sure the skin wasn't broken by his nails. She came down stairs still glowering at him.

"Shouldn't you be reporting back to your pack, do remind them I am holding up my end of the truce and I expect the same treatment more so since I pulled that slug out of your arm. Lucky for you those dim witted hunters don't understand that lead isn't the same as silver."

She took a better look at the wolf her eyes softening a little. " Did you have to eat everything? I had plans for that chicken." She sighed and took the bags she carried in to the fridge. "Looks like you have had a rough night, if you promise you wont rob me I will let you stay here tonight."

She went to the stove pulling out a few pots and pans. "lamb work for you?" She glanced over her shoulder with a knife in hand.
