Kenna looked up from where she sat smiling as she fought to hold back her laughter. Davina might of had her sealegs firmly in place but she did not have the required patience to handing being at sea for long periods of time. While things always started out well after the first couple of days passed the young girl would become antsy and irritable with anyone who wants Kenna. Kenna found it to be somewhat humorous but she would never be foolish enough to laugh in the face of tribrid. Even if that tribrid was her trusted friend and lady-in-waiting Davina. "We shall be docking soon enough Davina." Kenna's voice was one of reassurance as her eyes followed her lady as she went over to the table were the pitcher of honeywine sat upon a wooden table. "Why don't go find Mira or Jasunr? I am sure one if not both of the twins could come up with something to keep you occupied until we dock. I mean aside from drowning yourself in wine."
Two days ago their ship had docked in the Kingdom of Tripartite. There they had restocked the ship and collected the half-blooded royal twins to company them on the rest of their journey to the Valyrian Kingdom. It had been a little over a month since the tourney in the South Pacific Kingdom and weeks since alliance had been finalized in her home of the South Atlantic Kingdom. Since then everyone had returned to their residing kingdoms and all had been peaceful in the world. The ruling royals of the three kingdoms had decided to meet up at least once every month to discuss things and more importantly see each other. In the week ruling the tourney the stay in her kingdom had brought them all closer and friendships had formed. In some cases more than just friendship had blossomed.
I rather be drowned in the sweetness of honey then the salt of the sea." Davina spoke matter-of-factly as she chugged her third glass of wine. Davina could drink any man under the table. Due to the supernatural side of her she had an extremely high tolerance for alcohol of all sorts. Plus the alcohol curved her craves of blood which when stuck in the middle of the ocean with hundreds of annoying seamen proved beneficial. "But now that you have mentioned it I suppose I will go tracked down Queen Mira. I always seem to find her in the midst of something or another." A muffled laughter escaped Kenna as Davina downed one last glass of wine before leaving her alone again. What am I going to do with that one? She thought to herself as she got up to pour herself a glass of what little of the wine remained.
