"Well, I don't know much about dark magic, but dz'is seems ritualistic. Same type of deaths, same day of dz'e year. It sounds like dz'ey are after somedz'ing. It could be somedz'ing as simple as a gaining power or...somedz'ing else entirely." She said. Bane nodded slowly to himself hearing her answer. Fact of the matter was, until they found the guy, the likely won't know why he was doing it.
"'ow did you find out about dz'ese killings?" She asked. "Did you know any of dz'e victims?" He shugged slightly.
" Sort of... the second set of victims were a couple who attended the church of Father Walker... He was a friend of mine... " He says slowly trailing off quieter and quieter. The car rapidly comes to a stop as they manage to run into a red light.
" At first I had no idea about the linked murders... I was just looking into it as a single case.. but when I discovered all the other similar murders and more bodies kept piling up... I kept at it, but with little luck. " He glances over at Jacqueline as they stop, just now noticing the uncomfortable look on her face.
" You alright?.. " He asked, clearly having not put together her dislike of his speed.
As their car sat at the stop light, waiting for it to turn green, another car came pulling up along theirs on Jacqueline's side. A simple white car, a few years old now, but still in rather nice condition. either one of them would notice from where they were, but a simple wooden cross hung from it's rear view mirror. Inside of said car sits a young woman who casually looked over into Banes car. She seems to gasp, as she realizes who is in the car.
Bane, still looking in Jacqueline's direction, notices the woman. His eyes widen to the size of dish plates as he
" Shit.... " Growled Bane, before slamming his foot down on the gas, disregarding the red light. Two other cars have to slam on their brakes as he pushes through the intersection out of turn, both avoiding hitting them, but just barely.
