Bane began to wash her hand off at the sink, cleaning the wound. He remained quiet as he did so. The sound of the running water filled the silent room. One hand remaining on hers, as his other goes for a small bag sitting by the sink, which he pulls a simple cloth from - using it to dry off her wounded hand.
"I'm grateful for you.. " He says, still looking down at her hand in his hand. He lingers on that sentence for a long minute. " That you are willing to put up with the risk of helping me.. " He lets go of her hand, turning back, walking into the middle of the room. " As far as being treated some way.. After this is done.. They'll understand what I'm doing.. but until then.. I can't even begin to imagine they'd understand. "
