"The moment you doubt whether you can fly, you cease for ever to be able to do it." -J.M. Barrie
Kadence felt her teachers hands hold each side of her face. She looked at him with slight tears but then she colored her eyes, trying to close it as she was told.
It was dark.
Darkness was all around her and cradled her as she floated in the abyss known as her mind. She turned around, seeing nothing but darkness all around. A large eye came out of the darkness. The color was a startling blue and green. It was beautiful. She watched as it stayed open. This must be my third eye. She watched it then closed her eyes and concentrated, starting to speak.
"I stand here in the darkness and I am trying to close you. You cause my teacher to worry and you cause me to have the possibility of losing my sanity. I demand you close now."
She spoke sternly and the eye seemed to listen. A voice rang out as it closed.
"Kadence..."
Her eyes fluttered opened to see her teacher above her. She put her hand to her head, a massive headache hitting her hard.
