Even from her room upstairs Hazel could hear Sol unlocking the door, along with... not one, but two sets of footsteps. The mage was all too familiar with her friend's habit of bringing in unexpected guests out of charity and kindness. It wasn't a bad thing, of course, but it also meant having to buy a lot more medical supplies than one might think, and those were neither cheap nor easy to come by. With a weary sigh, Hazel decided to go downstairs and see who it was. Might as well get it over with, after all.
