Siren smiled slightly when Aoi comforted her. She could sense that Yoru was leaving in the form of a cat. She didn't really care, though. All that mattered to her was the safety of everyone else. Siren stood up slowly.
"Aside from that, I doubt that there was any other interference in the city. We should get going."
Siren started to walk, still reeling from her memory.

Amiya was running over to the school gate. Her class got out early so she wanted to be the first to greet the others. Amiya smiled a bit and then bumped into one of her friends.
"Ah! I'm so sorry, Ria-chan!"
Ria laughed a bit.
"I'm fine, Amiya. Say, where are you going?"
Amiya smiled at Ria.
"Ria-chan, I'm part of a group thesis in one of my classes. Since the vacation is coming up soon, we were going to decide on what our thesis should be today."
Ria raised an eyebrow.
"Seriously? My group decided on our thesis a day ago..."
Amiya panicked a bit.
"Huh?!"
"Heh, I don't have doubt that you'll create an interesting thesis though~"
Amiya sighed in relief.
"Well, in all honesty, I did have this one idea..."
"Hey, there you go~ Just don't let your group take advantage of you."
"Okay..."
"...Hey."
Ria's voice became serious.
"How are things at home? Are you okay...?"
Amiya smiled, but internally she was scared.
"I'm fine, Ria."
Ria raised an eyebrow.
"Are you sure? I know how much you hate being alone..."
Amiya caved.
"Well... I could use some company until the others show up..."
Ria ruffled Amiya's hair.
"Sure thing, kiddo."
