Dante turned back to get another drink, His 5th and final for the night, For the time being anyway. He had plenty to drink back at the shit hole he called a home. No, he had something else on his mind now. He wasn't one for passing up opportunities, and that young lady certainly seemed interested. Most likely, she was high on something, as most patrons of ToNic were, but that didn't matter much to Dante.
He paid the tender, then left the bar, the floor beneath him shifting as the alcohol rushed through his veins. He gave a quick shake of his head and tried to straiten himself out. Once he felt steady on his feet again, he moved to keep a watch on his new friends. He didn't want to miss out on a proper introduction.
"You know - " She called out the window in a hushed tone. "If you offer to help someone, turning around and leaving them before they can answer isn't a good start." She smirked. She kicked her heels off, knowing that climbing down the side of the house wouldn't be possible in such shoes. She tossed them out the window, hearing them land with a soft thud. Soon after, she followed, surprisingly nimble for a girl so near death.
"Lead the way." She said in a whisper as soon as she felt the dry grass beneath her feet. Thanks to the pollution in the sky, even the best paid gardener couldn't make the grass green in this town. Even those with wealth suffered dead plant life, though not as much as those living in poverty.
