Thanks Girl :D

"Good morning, and why are you out of bed, you should still be getting rest. I was coming to see if you were hungry or anything."

At the sound of 'good morning' Soran froze half expecting it to be one of the girls. But that wasn't quite right because the voice was deeper than a girls voice. He turned at the sound and was relieved to see that it belonged to Tristan. He gave a sort of guilty grin as he leaned against the wall, "I'm good to walk around, I'm not broken, jeez," he laughed slightly. His stomach decided to do the most horrid thing ever though in the presence of someone he liked... it growled... loudly. His face ignited and his hand dropped to his abdomen in embarrasment, "Umm..." After a moment he smiled nervously and rubbed his fingers through his hair.

"Well I am glad you aren't broken," Tristan teased slightly, but couldn't help but to chuckle at the stomach growling, "And I take that as a yes you are hungry. Do you feel like a walk to the kitchen then?" Tristan wondered why he even asked, it was a relatively dumb question. He sighed, "I am sorry, I am still tired and my brain isn't functioning well." Now why the heck did he just admit that to Soran.

Soran was happy to see that he wasn't the only one to act a bit differently than usual. He watched as Tristan seemed to be questioning himself about something. With a grin he walked over to him, "Yeah, it's alright. A lot happened last night, I'm surprised any of us got sleep... eeh... well I mean... other than someone getting knocked out. God that was embarrasing," he took a deep breath as he glanced up at the boy, "Anyway, sure lets go eat. And... thanks for the hospitality." Soran frowned a bit, looking down at the floor. He knew he was probably overstaying his welcome though, still he didn't really want to leave. Maybe he would call his home later instead. That would suffice, right?

Tristan grinned, "Well one thing is for sure, you've got a hard head." He was teasing again, trying not to think about what he had to say, or even if he could say it. He lead the other down the hallway back toward the kitchen and past all the other things going on. He glanced slightly to the patio and noticed his father was gone. He knew the adults didn't have any sleep with the barrier down. He felt bad, but couldn't do anything about it now. The kitchen was empty. Everyone else having come and gone at some point that morning. "So, what do you want to eat." Tristan looked at Soran, "I think there are eggs I can heat up, and I can always put some toast in the toaster." He was trying to remember what else without looking in the fridge

Soran giggled as he followed the boy into the kitchen. Seating himself gently, he propped his head up on his hands, "Maybe I should cook for you sometime, I'm not just a hacker you know," he said casually if only to see the other's reaction, "Mm, eggs sound amazing right now though. I haven't eaten since yesterday morning. What with a God out to possess me and all," he frowned at that but didn't say anything more. Those memories were much better left buried deep down.

Tristan smiled as he got plates out, but then the smile slowly faded away. "I would like that," he said trying not to let his mood into his voice. He is going to hate me after this Tristan couldn't help but to think. He made breakfast without another comment. He was trying to think of the words to say but nothing came to mind. He smiled as he put the plate in front of Soran, "Anything to drink." He glanced over at the coffee pot, it probably had a cup or two left in it. "Coffee, orange juice,"

"Mm, coffee, please," he hummed lightly. He eyed the plate and picked up the fork to begin eating. He was somewhat aware that Tristan was thinking of something. What it was, though, he wasn't sure. It almost felt the same as when he'd first met the red haired boy the day before. He was cold and aloof before warming up to Soran a bit. He was giving off that same feel again, "Are you alright? You're not worried about something are you?" he asked tentatively. He frowned even more as he realized what it might be. Putting his fork down, he found that he wasn't quite so hungry anymore, "I'm sorry. Maybe I should go. I've intruded long enough I'm sure and you're house has already been sort of destroyed. Uh... which was my fault really..." he sighed, "Besides, I should really get home. My family isn't the most... forgiving."

"Its not that...you are always welcomed here," Tristan started but then shook his head, "My father said that it would be best for you to go home, but I don't agree, I want you to stay." He sighed again, "I just don't want you to hate me, or any of us for that matter."

The words were definitely a shock to Soran. He hadn't been expecting that. Not even the Linovahle family was this opened with their home. He tilted his head a bit, "Why would I hate you? You haven't done anything and you're father's right. I do need to go home," he got off the seat and went to where Tristan was standing, "I want to stay too, but he's right. My parents are quick to conclusions and harder to get along with than a stray cat, I mean seriously. Who the hell immediately thinks that another family is plotting against them just because stocks went out of their predictions. Okay maybe that's a terrible anology, but it's sort of like that with my parents," he moved closer, "Hey I'll come back."

"You know when I said you weren't what I expected when I first met you." Tristan started and turned to face Soran, "Its because you are so different from others in your family. It was one of the first things I liked about you." He smiled because he decided that he was going to be in a sour mood for that moment, "I don't want to send you back to them." Ok maybe that was a bit overmuch but he couldn't help but say it. "I wish I could change everyone's mind but I know I can't. So I will keep you to that promise, that you will come back."

Soran grinned at him though his own thoughts were much darker, I might end up having no choice but to come back... I know what's going to happen. I just hope it won't be too bad and keep me from returning, "Don't worry. There are very few things that can keep me from breaking a promise," he laughed slyly then, "But don't you sound possessive. And we just met," he teased with a wicked grin before returning to his place to finish eating the food that Tristan had generously prepared for him.

Tristan grinned back at him, if Soran only knew how little Tristan truly liked the world, maybe he wouldn't think he was possessive. "I apologize, but who wouldn't be possessive of someone like you." He was teasing the other, "I mean look at all the excitement you bring along with you, powerful gods and a strange guardian." He finally poured the coffee for Soran and sat down next to him with it. "I do believe life would never be boring with you in it."

Soran laughed, "And you're certainly strange if you think excitement comes in the form of a powerful god," he shook his head a bit as he accepted the coffee. Sipping it, he gave a slight hum, "This is good, thank you," he let out a breath, "It definitely won't be boring. I like to keep things interesting, for personal reasons you know. Oh! One last thing, before I go. Stay right there and no peeking either," Soran warned as he turned his back slightly. Opening his magic system he began working on it. It took him several minutes, at least twenty or so before he was finished. Dragging off the strangely complex spell he'd created, he glanced over his shoulder with a smile before turning around slowly.

"Here, a birthday present... Um. A little late, but all the same," he offered to Tristan a metallic looking flower, "It does stuff too. What exactly, though I'm not sure. First time trying this. Anyway, my stuff usually lasts a few days depending on the spell. I'll definitely be back before this fades away, okay?"

Tristan tried not to peek, but for twenty minutes, who couldn't help but try once. He blushed as he was handed the flower, it did feel different as if he could feel the magic running through it. "Thanks Soran," he said, "I really like it." He had to admit that was a lame thank you, but as he looked at it and to its creator. He decided to do what he really wanted, he threw his arms around the other in a gentle hug. He couldn't help it, he had wanted to hug Soran since last night, and knew if he didn't do it now, he probably wouldn't get a chance to do so later.

Shocked he froze in the embrace for a moment, "Tristan..." it didn't take long for him to relent though. He returned the warm hug, "I should really be thanking you," he muttered in the boys shoulder. Finally he pulled away, "Alright, I have to go. But I'll be back. Probably sooner than you think," he gave a wink and headed for the kitchen door.

"Like I said, I am holding you to your word." Tristan said as Soran walked to the door, he smiled but refused to say the word that he didn't want to say. The one that wasn't given when someone was leaving, "See you soon." was what he finally said when he realized he was going to have to say something.
