Cato Oren Steadman "Well... It's about Daisy." Cato paused and pinched the bridge of his nose. This was more complicated than he thought, being a carer and a friend to a patient in the hospital. There was no escaping the connection between him and them. He simultaneously wished he could afford to be as aloof as some of the doctors seemed to be around their patients. "Look, I'm aware it isn't exactly news: she feels as if she's wasting the rest of her life here, and I can see that. We all can see that. She practically kills herself just wandering out of her room despite patient orders just to prove that her life is still worthwhile, and if she keeps up with this destructive behavior, then she just might."
He took a moment to pause and look Nick in the eyes, and he shook his head and started to chuckle. "Sorry, man, I... It's stressing knowing that she isn't all rightβand I'm digressing."
He rummaged around in his pocket for his phone and showed him a picture of a video camera he had lying around that a cousin of his gave him. "I've got this camera here. It's working, all right, but all I'll need is a sturdy tripod and some video editing software. I just want to give her her shot at directing films. Filming herself like one would in a video blog to help cope with it all. It could turn out real good for her, Nick."
