Abby scoffed quietly as his words about that being only the seat left, 'Surprised he didn't just force someone out of their seat,' She thought with a shake of her head. In her mind, Mason is a monster, a complete jerk, so when he complimented her drawing, it took her by surprise. "Um, thanks." She murmured quietly as the teacher came in to start class.
Her morning classes went by pretty quickly and without much trouble. A few guys had flirted with Abby, causing her to get dirty looks from the girls, but she just ignored it all, something she had come to be very good at. When lunch rolled around, she put her books away and made her way to the lunch room. She was one of the first people there since she didn't stop to talk to anyone. She glanced over the food, her stomach growled as the smell filled her nostrils. 'Oh, it all smells so good.' She thought, but knew her mom would have a fit if she ate any of the fattening foods. She sighed quietly and picked up a salad and a bottle of water before walking over to an empty table to sit down.
