Samantha smiled towards Ashley when she stated that she wasnāt interrupting but her response about missing Austen made her smile even more. She couldnāt even look at Austen without blushing, or looking off to the side. She sat down in a chair beside Ashley, which so happen is right in front of Austen. When she saw his lips were moving to speak, he didnāt because Amber emerged from the inside, along with Zach. She rolled her eyes at them both, ruining a moment of perfection, which was Austen speaking. She often wondered if Austen knew that she had a major crush on him but she also kept her distant to prevent from being hurt ā Again.
When Austen finally did speak, he basically said that he missed spending time with everyone. Luckily for her, Ria was next to come to the back porch, so she didnāt have to hide her blush any longer. āI want pancakes!ā She squealed while raising her hand briefly. Her eyes fluttered over towards Ash, who eagerly wanted to help with breakfast. Sam wouldāve helped as well but she was volunteered to help Austen unload his bags. What she look like, a bellman? She chuckled softly while shrugging her shoulders. āSu..ā She couldnāt even finish agreeing to help before being dragged inside by Amber.
She stopped to see if Zach was willing to help. āAfter the way he acted outside, I seriously doubt that heāll help much. Heās probably still high off some illegal shit.ā She removed her linked arm from Amberās while walking towards the outside, not feeling the least bit sorry for her words towards Zach.
She didnāt really hate him ā She just didnāt like his actions after high school. She simply shook her head to herself as she waited beside Austenās car for Amber.
Zach sipped his glass of orange juice again then seen Amber walk down the stairs. A smile crept across his face as she spoke to him. āMorning.ā He instantly replied while looking down then back up at her when she invited him to go outside. He wasnāt so sure how everyone actually felt about him, considering his track record with drugs, drinking, prison and the list goes on and on. Zach jumped off of the counter and walked outside, right behind Amber as he didnāt really speak to anyone. He felt their eyes burning a hole through him though. He wasnāt in the talking mood this morning, maybe it was because he is not really a morning person.
He really missed everyone but how would they feel about him being on probation now. His head lowered to the ground with a sigh as his eyes went up to Ria when she mentioned breakfast. At that time, he started making his way back into the kitchen and sat right back up on the counter. His eyes flashed towards Ashley and Ria as they entered the kitchen. He smiled towards them and nodded his head slightly.
It seemed like he didnāt have time to say anything since he had his orange juice taken from him by Amber. His usual remark would be to call her a bitch but he held it in, which he likes to call progress. He was fixing to respond and agree but heard Samanthaās words then couldnāt take it anymore. āWhat is your problem with me?!ā Zach asked Samantha, who didnāt bother listening but just simply walked away. He huffed while eyeing Amber, Ashley and Ria then turned around, walking upstairs to the guest room, where he stayed the night.
Zach slammed the door behind him absolutely angry with Samantha after her accusations on him in front of Amber, Ria and most importantly, Ashley. Heās been clean for almost a month now ā Honestly. He sat down on the edge of his bed and his head in his hands as he let out a frustrated yell.
