vehemence feelings of fear and excitement ricocheted from one wall of the great, to the other. small whispers escaped pubescent lips, almost as if they had been attempting to fill the eery silence that occasionally engulfed the room. one by one a child was called forth, followed by a decision of one's future. cheers of acceptance came in small bursts as each house gained a new token to claim as its own. yet, throughout all the events that took place she stood there, as still as stone. her eyes gazed before her; both hands hung loosely to her sides, only moving when another child would ever so lightly bump her while passing by; and her feet planted themselves to the ground, much like the stance of a pigeon. the longer she stood in place, the deeper she began to drifted from reality - her imagination dancing into many places of the unknown. 

"UDESULINE NA'BADRA" a voice rang out, bursting through her daze like a finger to a fragile bubble. she blinked, unsure for a moment of what to do. "huh? oh.. right. my apologies." she piped, now aware that many eyes were in her direction as she began to gracefully make her way up the few steps that seperated her from the cap. her heart skipped a beat, as it touched her head. "aaah yes, there is no doubt about this one." it hissed. "SLYTHERIN!" and, within moments it was removed. she stood infront of the crowd as they clapped and motioned her over, yet she continued to remain in place for a few seconds longer. "as it should be." she muttered to her self, and then off she went to join the rest - her eyes scanning the many faces around her, as she sat. although it hadn't felt like it just yet, this was now her new home. something certainly unfamiliar.
