"It's fine, Chiyo. Grandpa will be more than happy to clean it all up. Besides, I'm sorta banned from the sink, after...well..." Aolani trailed off, her face a little red at the memory. She wasn't about to elaborate, though.

"Anyway, let's go!" the blonde hurriedly declared, rushing out of the dining room with her best friend.

As they ascended the stairs, an idea came to the track star's mind, which made her blush even more. It seemed a bit...risky, but well...what was life but a series of risks and chances? Besides, Chiyo could take her statement in a number of ways...

"Hey, I have an idea. How about we have a little contest? How about we see which one of us is the first to legalize gay marriage, okay?" Aolani joked, looking over at the purplette with a smile. Inwardly, though, her heart was fluttering crazily in her chest.

Chiyo could take that question any number of ways...but Aolani hoped most that she would take it as a hint that she was, well...that she liked girls. In truth, Aolani had an attraction to both sexes, though she'd always held an affinity toward girls, and Chiyo knowing that fact in particular was...w-well, if they were to ever have a...r-relationship, it would be good if Chiyo knew that her friend had a general attraction toward girls.

Of course, the Japanese girl being the quiet, introverted person she was, Aolani doubted that she'd come out and ask about any double-meanings her comment had. But still, if it planted the idea in her head that Aolani was attracted to girls, then she certainly wouldn't mind...
