As the group approached James got to his feet and fell back into the crowd. His idea was to find Eddie and make some sort of gameplan for this hike. "He didn't intend on staying completely on track, but he also didn't plan on being a forfeit. Purple cabin was winning this year no matter what he had to do to cause it. With most of the group now ahead of him he positioned himself beside Eddie. "Hey man, you ready for the trek?" He asked jokingly with a chuckle. He looked ahead at the others walking and let out a sigh of relief. It was great to be back here. and He couldn't wait to see what would unfold during the summer. His last summer of freedom and camp. Something he couldn't help but think about.
He knew the camp had its trouble makers, but he was excited to see what Coby and her crew would stir up this year. They always managed to cause some laughs with their antics. and it was something James missed most about being away from the camp. The fact that is was so carefree and relaxed, aside from the occasional grump. Was what lured and trapped James here oh so many years ago. Now with it coming to a close. James was prepared to make the most out of his time here and to create as many memories as he can this summer. So he'd be able to look back at where he came from and keep on his proper path. Away from the trials of his brother. Then came that, the thought of his brother, something that jerked him back to reality, something that brought out the fear of the future that he had. With the thoughts flooding into his head he stopped walking and just stood there, millions of thought running through his head all at once began to overwhelm him. He fell back from the group as they continued to walk ahead and down the rocky path. Slowly starting to walk James worked his way back to the group, he walked towards them with concern written all over his face. The path was noticeably drier now that he wasn't in his own little world. This walk was going to be long, and he was now jsut realizing how long it was going to be. Atleast he could look forward to free time later tonight.
