Feeling safe as to knowing no one would be around watching, as she glanced around once, she flicked her wrist gently left to right, in which made water beside her feet do the same; following the movements. Baby waves washed over the tops of her barley sun hit feet. She smiled, feeling warmth of heart while using her elements power, even if it was something so small that would barley be noticed. But, her heart quickly dropped as she heard steps coming up the dock from behind her. Dropping her hand quickly, she tried not to be too obvious. His voice came shortly after, and the deepness of the males voice broke the silence that the late emanated. Glancing over to him as he sat beside her, his feet joining hers in the water, she began to give a friendly smile, until he said his name, and his full face came to view. All she did was stare, her blue eyes wide thinking she was seeing things.
She knew who this person was, there was no doubt about it. She hadn’t seen him since he was a child, but she would recognize him anywhere, grown up or not. She could feel the emptiness that had been pitted within herself ever since being separated from the one she was bonded to begin to fill back up, greedy for the strength. His name was Tyler, for Christ sakes! That just proved that it was him. "He looks so different..." the blonde thought to herself, probably still giving him the shocked deer in the headlight looks.
Closing her slightly parted mouth, she became a little frenzied, knowing that there was a chance he wouldn’t recognize her or remember his past. There was also the slim chance that it wasn’t actually him, but the coincidence would be uncanny. Shifting her weight, she laughed and said “Oh god, I’m sorry for gawking...” and tried to get her feet out of the water to stand up. Instead, she fell fully into the water.
Popping her head out of the crystal blue water, she pushed her now soaking wet blonde hair from sticking to her face, all the while kicking her legs to tread and stay afloat. “That was graceful.” She said in an obvious sarcastic note to herself, her face becoming pink with the oh-so-delightful feeling of embarrassment. Paddling over to the docks edge, she propped her arms on top of the old dock, and pushed herself back up onto it and shortly standing up. Water dripped off of her, and she shifted away from Tyler so that the water wouldn’t drip onto him. Stormy couldn’t help but laugh at herself. It was the type of infectious laugh that was genuine. Glancing back at Tylers direction, she smiled, still giving a small laugh saying “I’m Stormy, and I’m going to go see if there’s a towel over there,” before walking down the small dock and to the little shack at the beginning of the dock. It had benches and a few drawers. Opening up a couple, she finally found a white and black stripped beach towel. She dried off the parts of her bare skin that showed and quickly towel dyed her hair so it wasn’t constantly dripping water like a running faucet.
